Don, you mean that people that have the A2000 can makeit a A2500 by adding the board(s), and if course will be more expensive ? or by buying an A2500 you will save some $$$. Why CBM did not put the '020 stuff on the motherboard with some hardware that will detect specific '000 code and put a filter for those deadly instructions…anyway… from my seat I see that having a A25000 with the '020 boards is giving you a new big powerful door but you are taking a slot a precious slot…how the memory chips of the A2500 are they relly 32 bit mem chip or just some kind of fix from the A2000… maybe I am talking too much but damn '000 tech is out in order to compete in a clear meaningful manner…RISC chips are spurring everywhere…including in the motorola line ( 88000 ) not many workstation makers will support the '030 except HP to a extend SUN, APOLLO, Silicon Graphics , Prime they are going for the RISC ( risk in a sense ) even IBM ! Bottom line…CBM don't lose your chance to knock a lot of people ou or better to garb a juicer market like the c-64 did…we are waiting and waiting…but not forever…where is that truly based '020 Amiga ?!?!?!? needless to say work on a parallel processed Blitter Amiga based on multiple CPU and ypu will send a lot of companies to their Doctor ( or broke… ) . Well I think that I let ALL of my stress out…after our SUN corrupted a master HD…!!!
