#Message Handler
Art,
Nothing like that….yet.
You can do that now. Use the macros, and login, go to the forum, then open
a buffer. Send a RTN (or however you read messages) and when you get the
function-prompt, or menu, close buffer, logoff. Save the buffer, and then use
either ED or something similiar. (check out KEEP.ARC, dl-4 to read messages)
I used to have a nice setup that used KEEP to go through the ones I wanted to
answer, then UEDIT to display/answer them. You can get away with using ED
(two of them, as the Ami does multitask) One show, and one to type in. To
send, edit using your favorite editor, then make a mini-script re <message
number> Hi!
/ex re <next message> You too!
/ex
Just dump that file at the forum prompt. It may look like World War II is
breaking out, but it works.
Hope this helps,
Doug
