re: thick lines on an NEC LC890 postscript printer. Check your pen width
statement in the plot parameters. It should be about 0.001 for 300dpi. You
can vary this to bold up the lines if you want. Autodesk's driver for
Postscript has got to be the most inefficient driver around. It treats the
PS device exactly like a pen plotter. Any solid areas or thick lines are
created with multiple single strokes rather than using Poscripts built-in
line weight functions. This makes for large, slow plot files.
