Randy, the CalComp 1051 should work with AutoCAD using the 906/907 driver.
When it asks for the model number during configuration, select #5, "User".
Number of pens = 4, XON/XOFF = No, and the the remaining settings are
non-critical.
The CalComp 907 on-board controller requires the following switch settings:
S8 = 8 (9600 Baud)
S3 – 2,3,4,7 up, 1,5,8 down
S4 – 2,4,6,7 up, 1,3,5,8 down
S5 – all down
S6 – 2,3,5,8 up, 1,4,6,7 down
In addition, you may need to make a cable as follows:
