I think I saw the same add and I think that program is basically a rip
off (either intentional or not) of Autodesk's own Kelvinator. What these
programs do is replace the variable names with nonsense names and remove all
the carriage returns, spaces, and tabs. What results is unreadable but
executable code. You can still break it if you really try. As for speed, the
encrypted code may actually load and execute a little faster as it's size is
reduced.
I think they still give out the Kelvinator for free on request. Drop a
line to Jamie or to SYSOP and see what happens! I'd definately try this
route before paying for a program that appears to do the exact same thing!
