John, I am sorry for the delay in responding to your message. I only read
the easy plexes on the 76701,26 id.
The font files that you referred to are fine; I have downloaded them. What
baud rate are you using? I recommend 1200 baud for consistency. I have
attempted to download at 2400 baud, but I find that the line gets dropped
more frequently. If you experience problems with a particular login, try
logging off and redialing. This sometimes gets you a better connection. If
you are experiencing continuous problems you should report it to CompuServe.
There may be problems with a particular node, etc. BTW: I do use the
CompuServe PC3 communications package and I have experienced few problems
with it. Do you have the most current version – 3.1?
