screen fonts
Sorry about not responding to your question earlier. I do not remember
receiving it. I will check back again.
What sizes are these large sized fonts that you got from Apple? I was not
aware of changes to the fonts that were being distributed. It has always
been possible if an application supports it to select a larger point size
font than that which is installed. The application will approximate the
screen font but the PostScript output will reflect the accurated scaled
outline font.
I also read the response given by Steve Werner and it is accurate. We
continue to urge users to select the actual fonts. In addition, the most
important thing is consistency. If you are using only the style menu or the
actual fonts and not mix and matching the two, you are more likely to avoid
problems.
