Thank you for your reply, the problem was between my NEC890 and
Ventura Publisher. I spoke to the people at Adobe at length, who were
willing to work out my problem…they were super.
Unfortunatly, I didn't have the time to spend on the phone. I was
turned on to a program that will download the fonts to my printer, thus
making them resident before using Ventura.
This system works fine. I do hope that Adobe can work out the few
kinks that cause the problem downloading fonts from VP. I can now happily
use my parallel interface and everything works in concert.
