As you might remember, I have the C-LTD SCSI interface and a Everex 20D HD hooked up to my Amiga 500. I have the FastFileSystem now, but can't seem to get it to work with my system. It doesn't hurt it any, but doesn't help either. I've set up my new Mountlist and added the 2 lines: GlobVec = 1 FileSystem = L:FastFileSystem Put the FastFileSystem in my L: directory, reformatted my partitions using the FFS option in the new Format, used the new MOUNT, etc, etc. But I don't notice any speed increase at all, its as if it were running under the old file system. I don't have the full 1.3, just the files needed for the FFS that was copied to my 1.2 disk. Do I need 1.3 for the FFS to work? Or do I need a new SCSI.device driver that C-LTD might be working on? Any ideas Ben? Your help is certainly appreciated, and if you can get me going with the FFS, I promise to stop bugging you! ( X – Fingers crossed 🙂 John Gager
