You might want to check programs like PIXMATE or Deluxe Photolab that change
one format to another. I'm not sure whether they handle RGB files, though.
The only reason I mention this is because Sculpt/Animate can create RGB files
for use with frame buffers but I'm not sure whether those files are similar
in format to TARGA files. Anyway, the transformation should just be a
question of averaging the colors and coverting to the IFF standard file
format. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
