Jeff, Yes it is possible that many have purchased boards that will never be able to use the AUI effectively. I have seen some attempts (by boards that will remain nameless) that I would never use the ADI/AUI due to the slow speed. Now they do offer higher res and that can easily make up for poor AUI performance. I like the pull downs just as much as the next guy, but a good tablet and a high resolution screen can surely compensate for lack of pull downs. I think you interpreted my comment correctly, feasibility is the issue here and it can have many tones. The board may not be able to accommodate the AUI "mechanically" or the manufacturer may feel it is beyond their resources to make it worth the effort. For those who have these boards, AutoCAD works the same as before – plus the OTHER major enhancements that Release 9 offers. Jamie
