UPDATE: Contrary to some wild, but uderstandable speculation, INFO is not dead (nor has it been sleeping). We have been going through some very interesting, and at times turbulent, changes which have delayed our usual schedule. For the record, here is our status as of today: * The merger with AmigoTimes: a good idea, would have cost a bundle, "wouldn't be prudent at this juncture", wonderful people and product, they have relocated, and are regrouping. Don't count EYO and his gang out yet! * The new INFO: INFO #31 will be shipped in early May. After #31 we will begin our monthly pace. INFO #32 forward will reflect several changes in focus, content, look & feel, and production technique. The 8-bit coverage will be gone, there will be a new emphasis on professional applications such as multi-media, desktop video & presentation, DTP etc. We will also have a new tech section (a "Son of Transactor" kind of deal) and more tutorials. INFO will still have the best news, new products, reviews, and games coverage, but the professional thing is "happening". The name will stay the same (well, almost :{) ). We have a new printer, and will take delivery in May of a new Compugraphic 9600 imagesetter with a front-end built around a 50MHz 68030. We will produce all our film on-site. We have been entirely re-financed by local Iowa City investors, to take INFO from the #2 selling to the #1 selling Amiga magazine. * There will be a disk product. More on this as it develops. * INFO will be bringing you the best writers, and the kind of high-test no-bull, front-line INFO you've come to expect, only more and more often! * Thanks to all our loyal readers and advertisers who have hung in there with us over the years, and especially the last month. See you soon! -Benn Dunnington
