Tom, I bought and sold several items through AudioMart ads, and they offer service where the buyer sends the check to Audiomart (MO or certified, or maybe they will cash it to be sure it is good) who notifies the seller, who sends the goods. The buyer has a couple of days to make sure everything is OK, then either returns the goods, or the money gets passed on to the seller minus about $20. Also Audiomart will not carry ads from the general public (you need a referal for a subscription first), and will not post ads for anyone with a unresolved dispute. I bought a ST70 that wasn't what I understood it to be (the ad said modified, but the amp only had a simple parts upgrade), and when the seller balked at refunding my money, Audiomart called them and stopped all their ads until we reached an agreement. Cross country deals have some risk, but don't forget why you are doing it (better price, easier to do, etc.). BTW the person most at risk is the buyer. If I buy your stuff and it breaks two hours later I am stuck, or at best at your mercy. Cheers, Mike Ford
