Wayne– You need an extra 2meg for a total of 2.5 in order to use the
Pacific Data Postscript cartridge. You can have up to 4.5 total.
While I haven't used any downloadable fonts, the manual talks about doing
so. I suspect that you can't use true Adobe format fonts. All the manual
talks about is Bitstream fonts in 2 formats. QEM format is recommended for
best quality. The types and number you can download are:
Bitstream Quality Enhanced Module (QEM) fonts:
2.5 meg holds an extra 4 outline fonts, 4.5 meg holds 8 fonts
Bitstream basic PS fonts (Laserwriter Nt/NTX):
2.5 meg holds an extra 5 outline fonts, 4.5 holds 10 fonts
The PS cartridge comes with the same fonts as the Gold Disk Compugraphics
Fonts Package (35 fonts).
