You need a Watcom or Metaware compiler which is compatible with the
Phar-lap dos extender and also the IPAS developers kit. I'm considering
getting into this myself since I think it has incredible potential.
I'd also like to say I have created 4k x 4k images in 3ds version 1 on many
occasions and while this does cause mucho disk paging they took around 1 –
1.5 hours to complete 1 frame. Of course, they were for stills so that's
not bad I reckon.
