Jonathan: Thanks for your input on the Epson/ActionLaser. I can tell you know that this particular model is _NOT_ one that I really want. I believe the model that Epson is selling refurbished (with a same-as-new warrantee) is the original ActionLaser. Has less features than the current ActionLaser II. The price is attractive, 500.00 + shipping. There is no mention of to whom this offer is restricted, but I believe that since I've ordered from the Accessory Department before, I get first dibs. Maybe. I went to a local printer store, and they happened to have one of these around. It seemed to work just fine. My problem with it is the laser engine. It isn't the same as that of the HP LaserJet, and the saleman said they have problems getting toner and drum/chargers. I think I'll just save some more pennies and spring for a HP LJ IIP.
