Roger: I'm going to step WAY out of bounds here and speak for Gary. He's tired, he's worn out, he's frustrated, and he's got a sore butt… which explains the tone but not the intention of his note to you… What he's trying to say is that he's pretty darned sure that there isn't any 3D entity in AutoCAD that won't translate to 3DS… so the >windows< created by ASG must not have the proper 3D entities in them or they are translating as infitesimally small blocks, or who knows what… and these are from the Marvin pakage, not ASG (well, since they bought Vertex, I guess they are from ASG…). The thing to do is to A. Not expect Gary to be civil for the next month or so… B. Don't ask him anything about ASG 'cause he doesn't know anything about it… and C. Go over to the ACAD forum and rattle the cage of one of the ASG reps over there… Stewart Sadabell is one that I know of… I don't use the thing, either, so I can't tell you what is going on but I'm confident the mystery will be revealed to you when you execute your search with enough humility and knee crawling groveling that someone will take pity on you instead of tell you to learn more about the software that you're using <grin>.
