Thanks. I've pretty much decided on getting an amiga anyway. I've seen demo's of the toaster and have been very impressed. My only reservations are that as I see it PC's are moving into the same multimedia and graphics arena that up until now have been dominated by Macs and Amigas and you've got to admit that something with the market share of the PC is bound to bring the developers. It's already happened with a lot of graphics, desktop publishing and MIDI software. On the other hand, I really haven't seen much that compares price/ performance wise with the amiga for video on any other machine and it does seem to have a large share of those users. By the way I've been looking at the price tag for video equipment and realizing that it is probably going to cost more that the computer system itself. If anyone has any suggestions as to where I might get some cheap I'd be happy to hear from you. I live in Boston but I'd be willing to go mail order and I'd also be willing to look at used equipment. I'm considering SVHS as this seems to have a better picture than 3/4 inch. Is this a mistake? Tell me. John "Limey" Bastow
