That's why I've never bought a pair of gravity boots. I've been interested in keeping my back in one piece for years now, and although everyone says that inversion is the best therapy, gravity boots aren't a very good idea. The device I bought is called an Orthopod, and you step into it, it holds you by the pelvis, and you rotate 180-degrees. Works GREAT. No stress on the body at all… I just hang for a few minutes and it seems to do a pretty good job of counteracting some of the bad effects of being in 1G.
