Randy, You must have missed my last message. Ever since I went back to my computer dealer, I have had NO PROBLEMS with MPFs or Phar Lap. It turned out that the Conner disc drive model I had, in my dealer's experience, causes problems with AutoCad. So he immediately swapped in a Quantum drive and I have had smooth sailing ever since. As far as my activities in Animator, I was just beginning to use it, so I never got into anything very complex. I finished the tutorial, but amid dozens of crashes. Since replacing my drive, I am using Animator to talk to my TARGA+ card, still using relatively simple animations for video (mainly titles so far), and it works great. The problems I was experiencing sound very similar to yours. Random crashes, caused by doing very simple things. I hope this helps. Regards, June
