Sorry, I didn't explain the symptoms clearly. I have been using just the
AUTO option: what happens is that if I then use the close gadget, it closes
the console OK. When I get another error or more trace info, the console
re-opens, displays previous messages, but doesn't display any new messages.
Any thoughts ?
