[ continuation ] cover some basics that have been overlooked. When the README files are substantially larger than the shipping manual, you have a problem. I would also like to mention another problem…one of distribution of products. Today, I needed a certain program ASAP, due to a sudden client decision (which was quite unreasonable on their part)…the software is CDROM-FS, done by Canadian Prototype Replicas. I found out that there was NO WAY to get the software overnight, from anyone in North America!! Only two folks had it in stock…one was Amagination in NYC, which refused to ship it to me at any price (I will NEVER buy anything from them, EVER!), an some dealer in Ontario that was referred to me by the actual developer (who also could not ship it). Not one mailorder outfit had it in stock, and most never heard of it. Some told me that the publisher was out of business, or that the product was discontinued (i.e.,Creative and Go Amigo). This is an extreme example, but I will probably lose out on this client because of it…and I will have less money to spend on the Amiga as a result. Jonathan – via Whap!
