#Wait to buy CDROM?
From the outside looking in it appears that CDROM technology is still "too
new." I have an SCSI-equipped PC all ready to add a CDROM drive, but
I am overwhelmed by all of the things I need to decide or know (or don't
know that I need to know!).
The chances of making a serious buying mistake look pretty high! I would
hate to buy a drive only to discover that a feature I had not considered
was not available for my drive.
I am trying to sell a Beta video player at a garage sale even as I tytpe
this. What are the chances I will have my CDROM drive in the garage in 3 or
4 years?
