No – the file system is ISO-9660; but there are two very distinct versions
of the CD-ROM _files_ (we discovered to our dismay). One version has files
like the early ones you sent us, which we call DOS-Type, they start with
the NJPL preamble and go right into the data. THen there is what we call
the Mac-type, which have about 2k of "stuff" before the NJPL preamble,
which is Macentoid data as far as I know (I didn't do the loader, so am a
bit vague on the details here). A user sent us a couple of disks full of
files, and sure enough, tons of trash ahead of the file itself on EVERY
file. We load that type and the original type now. Whatever they are.
