Mike,
The routine you want is ActivateGadget(). Here's how…
Success = ActivateGadget(Gadget, Window, Request)
D0 A0 A1 A2
BOOL Success
struct Gadget *Gadget
struct Window *Window
struct Request *Request
The Window must point to a Window with the Gadget in it. If the Gadget is in
a Requester, the Requester pointer must also be passed. The Requester parameter
must only be valid if the Gadget has an REQGADGET flag.
Requirements for success…
– The Window must be active.
– No other gadgets may be in use (incl sizing, dragging, etc.)
– If in a Requester, the Requester must be active (REQSET & REQCLEAR)
– The right mouse button cannot be held down.
Regards, Larry.
