Just a comment here, have y'all seen the new NEC SilentWriter model 95? It
looks good, comes with postscript level 2, PCL5, and automatic emulation
switching (so you don't even have to care whether you need laserjet
emulation or PostScript). It also has the enhanced resolution technology
and an envelope feeder. List price is $1749 (street price ???) compare
that to list for a HP laserjet III at $2495 with no PostScript!
I just saw the ad in BYTE. They have an 800 number for info (800-NEC-INFO)
if you are interested. If the difference in list price vs street price is
similar to what the other machines have, this could be a great deal!
