You mean, every time I print a file with a bitmap to PostScript, the program should warn me that what I see on screen is not what I'm going to get? ref: Can I just add that the reason I wanted bitmaps to be transparent is that I've got a graphic which contains two filled polygons, and I want the printed output to show the outline of BOTH polygons, not just one or the other. ??? I don't understand this. I assume you mean that your graphic is composed of two bitmaps which overlap and that the white pixels of one are cutting off the other. In a case like this, just combine them in paint program before importing. If it's all one bitmap, I don't understand how making white pixels opaque would change anything.
