I just set up someone with a PPI 040 33MHz. It's a Toaster 2.0 system and also
has a GVP Series II SCSI board. The 040 board dropped right in and fired up
without a whimper. The system's being used constantly now and I haven't gotten
any calls from the guy. I think the board cost about $1100 with 4MB on board
(we added memory that I had stocked). It runs cool, and the utilities and
documentation that come with the board are professional.
Mind you, I'm not a professional Amiga hacker, just a hobbyist.
