Karl, My friend owns a CDTV and this weekend we Parneted it with my 2000HD. I have to say that adding the resourse of a CD ROM is a powerful thing. However, C= will not tell you anything on the CDTV because he has been trying to get a Hard drive and expand the memory from just a puny meg. In fact they wouldn't even tell him what the hole in the back marked "Expansion" was for. We called some Vendors this weekend and they said that they are waiting news from the AMIGA Show in New York next weekend. My advise is to hold off on the CDTV until after news is released on the future of CDTV. If an AGA CDTV is announced the current one's value will drop like a rock just like the A3000 did. For some reason C= likes railroading their customers. If your wonder what I am talking about just talk to a new A3000 owner before the A4000. AGA is a very touchy subject with them. I am holding off on buying both a CDTV and A4000 for the same reason because of the rumor of the A4200 and the IDE problem. – via Whap!
