Hi, I'm new to the Amiga, and am wondering if I made a mistake in buying it. I've got an Amiga 2000 with 9 megs ram and 80 M HD. I'm useing 1.3, and when I type version diskfont.library I get 34.37. What should I consider upgrading? What ROM version should I get? Is it true that I can get 16.8 million colors with a 2000? I've got an 1084 as a monitor. CAn my amiga use 1.44meg drives? or at least do so when emulating a PC? I heard that my amiga can beat a 386 IBM in graphics etc… but I can't seem to prove it to anyone. And what about acceleration? What should I consider there.. I have quite a few questions… and can bearly get around in my amiga. Sorry for butting in like that… btw, how do I do a directory listing for specific files, as in IBM Dos I'd do "DIR T*.*" to get all files that start with T… but I have been unable to find a way to do it with my cli or shell. I'm not as dumb as I sound, hehe… I hope. Nick
