The 1960 is a good monitor (that is if you have one that works 🙂
I don't think I'd swap for a Nec 3D, their pretty much the same. Some
poeple have had better luck on reliability with the 3D though.
I wouldn't trade for the NEC 3FG, that would be cutting out all the 15.75
modes (including SuperHires, the 3FG can't sync to that at all)
