OK, I've found part of my problem, I think. I had added a 2091 and disk to my 2090a and disk, copied all of the 2090a's data over to the 2091 and all worked fine as long as the 2090a was in the system. When the 2090a is removed, the system does not find the 2091 at all. OK, so while exploring my install disk I found an ICON called Reselect ON. Oh, what the heck, I think. Click, Click. It says it has done something to the SCSIs and lo an behold, on reboot the 2091 and drive are there. I can even reboot off of the 2091. Great. So, I turn off the power, completely remove the 2090a and drive and turn it back on. No hard drive. Try Reselect ON again. All is back. How do I get it to stay there? Apparently Reselect is ephemeral but I need it. —–Paul—– Maybe I'll go read the DOS manual. Unfortunately there was no info with the 2091 when I got it. Are any of the jumpers significant in this effort?
