Seems like I've been bombarding the forum with questions but I just made a major upgrade of my A2000/BB286 system and I'm now trying to work out the problems. My system has a WANG 1024/16c SVGA card, BB286, A2000, Flicker Free II, Vector 68030 and NEC 3D monitor. One problem involves the WANG SVGA card. I the card works almost flawlessly. The main problem is that it automatically configures itself to the monitor connected. If it finds no monitor connected it defaults to "monochrome" mode. The problem is that I am running it through a switch box to my monitor. In order to boot the BB I've got the switchbox connecting my monitor to the Amiga side. So the VGA card sees no monitor and boots in monochrome. My two solutions currently are to go into the BB Setup Utility and change back to COLOR 80 and then reboot the BB (a slow process) OR connect to the VGA card before booting the BB and by typing "blind", open an Amiga CLI and start the BB that way (my kids use the BB and can't do this). Does anyone have any other solution? Are there SVGA cards that work with the BB that don't autoconfig with the monitor attached?
