As far as I know the TRS-80 Model 16 had a 68000 and 2 Z80
processors. Are you saying that these chips had assistance from
other hardware on the board to provide the functions of a MMU? I
will review my books, you may well be right if so, you'll get a note
from me. 🙂
Do you agree with me that Commodore's use of a EC part does not
really have anything to do with what engineering (software/hardware)
may be doing? You know, after being around as long as you have been,
that kind of coordination you suggest between the sales organization
and the development side of Commodore doesn't exist.
