The MME appears to be available only from vendors of hardware for MM and
Windows (such as Creative Labs for their SoundBlaster Pro). Rumor has it
that WIN 3.1 will be out in the spring and will include the MME. Sound
Blaster Pro is available from many sources at prices from $195 to $295.
There are at least two other boards that are supposed to be available soon
that will support MME (Adlib Gold and ProGold Mulimedia). Pro Audio
Spectrum and the Thunderboard combination are supposed to provide the same.
