First, the only difference between a pro user and a "hobbyist" is a pro depends on it to earn a living. If anybody implied that one is more sophisticated than the other, I don't buy it. If anything, it's the pro who is more tolerant of poor software and high prices because we NEED its capabilities to earn a living. Some pros don't have enough experience with computers to recognize bad software. The hobbyist can and will say: No thanks until you clean up your act. We'll all suffer if publishers of Amiga desktop video software re-orient their marketing to pros, which I think unlikely.
