#ReturnCode10
Denny Atkin's book "Best Amiga Tips and Secrets" offers much insight into
parts of Workbench (version 2.1) that I never really understood. It also
creates many questions.
In setting up a file (icon) to run from just 'double-clicking' the icon,
an "Execute a File" requestor comes up. Clicking 'OK' brings up the
output window which then states, " X file is not executeable" and "X
failed return code 10". According to the "information" of the icon, it is
executable, erasable, writable and deletable. Also the comment line is
set up for it to look at "DH0:c/play", since it is a sound file which I
wish to make executable from just 'clicking the icon". What am I leaving
out?
