Scott To the best of my knowlege, there is no other Mac emulator other than the
A-MaxII +. The A-Max will run on a 500 with a HI-Q tower if that is the
direction you want to go. If you want to save yourself some money, I would call
an Amiga reseller and see what you can get for a trade in on your system, and
go for a new or referbished 2000. The HI-Q tower, although a very good piece of
equipment, is a little on the expensive side. I have seen brand new 2000
systems for less than the cost of the HI-Q. Hope I could help,

P. S. There are other Mac emulators, but they are all old versions
of the A-Max II +, to the best of my knowlege.
