I've bought over 50 PC's from Gateway 2000 in the past 5 years and I've only
ever had one problem and they sent out a guy the next day to fix it (bad
motherboard). Other problems I fix myself. I've had many more problems with
AST and most recently ALR computers (which were not my choice to buy anyway so
I didn't get my butt spanked for it).
I do advertising and DTP on the side and I need a powerhouse PC. The toaster
would only really be used for wipes, switching, and CG. Does that require a
super fast Amiga? I was told everything the VT is capabable of can be done on
a base 2000.
