The Toaster isn't quite the place to Start, when it comes to video
production. But it is a GREAT place to start in 3D rendering/animation.
VTR's, TBC's, and video cameras are all necissary before you even think
of using the toaster, or doing any video production.
DCTV is the way to go for getting your anims to tape. Thats the least
expensive (DCTV $299) solution and also almost necissary for doing ;test anims
before going to tape with SFR
The future of video is definately digital, and DCTV is one of the first
devices capable of displaying full screen hi-res, hi-color images at
near realtime speeds on your present system NOW.
