Well, they may be "VERY intelligent and computer literate (and quite adult) friends" of yours, but these are probably those friends over in England, right? They like Snoopy for CDTV? They probably think Jerry Lewis is a genius, too, right? <grin> Frankly, I find the controller for CDTV pretty silly as far as human factors goes, making the playing of a games, or even navigating around the encyclopedia more difficult than it should be. My gut feeling for some time was the it would be VERY difficult to play something like Lemmings with those four arrow buttons – last night I confirmed my suspicions. I wonder if I plug a mouse in the back if it'll work….. Karl
