Surface mounted chips? I've never had problems replacing them. I use just use
the analytical person's tool, the crow bar. Given enough time you can divide
anything into it's basic parts.
I'm holding off buying a 4000 until they socket those 8520s. Or until they
revamp the chip and make them more forgiving.
