Butt-insky mode on: I think some concern was precisely that there be "insurance of future expandability" built in, as it was in the A2000. Hopefully that is indeed true with the reports from WOC N.Y. that they socketed the CPU chip. To appeal to hobbyists it must be as flexable and upgradable as possible. If all the reports so far are true it is going to be a very popular model. BTW the socket is not just important for MMU, it is also a door to the buss for socketed after-market upgrades. If CBM is ready to quit chasing the elusive niche markets and take back the consumer market that was once their bread and butter they need to listen to the consumer, and they are apparently doing that. This might be the turning point at last. It had better be, they are almost out of lives. Tom
