A2386 Questions
I'd like to find out the answers to a few questions about the A2386
Bridgeboard.
1) What hardware/software is recommended (or required) to run Windows
3.1? Can you give me some idea of the prices for the add-ons? If VGA
doesn't run on an interlaced display, does it work on a flicker-fixed
display? (I'm not clear on how the display works with the Amiga's.)
2) I assume a 5.25" floppy comes standard with the 2386. What's the
cheapest and easiest way to add an HD (1.44M) floppy disk? Can the 5.25"
disk be disconnected if it isn't needed?
3) Can MSDOS-6 (the version just out) run with the Bridgeboard?
4) Can other peripherals (Printer, Modem) be shared between the Amiga and
IBM-clone sides?
5) Is Janus 2.1 the latest version of software?
6) Do I get a prize if I'm the one-millionth person with the same
questions about the Bridgeboard? 🙂 Seriously, please point me to a
file to DL if it already answers some of these questions, or perhaps a
file should be uploaded if I'm only the 100th person to ask.
