Yes, it looks like the controller is meant to be used instead of a
mouse, which is OK. There is a keyboard connector, but it's not the
standard 1000 or 2000 one. It may be the 4000-style one.
I hooked up a standard floppy to it tonight and threw in a 1.3 boot
disk for it to munch on on power-up and it worked just dandy. I executed a
CDTV-Player file that plays audio CD's in the drive without locking the
machine into that task only, although it's not nearly as slick as the
included interface. Now I have yet to figure out what else I would want to
be doing with the CDTV in the meantime, but I'm larnin'!
