Wouldn't you know, it's gotta be a New Yorker who steps forward to lay
down the law on who's right, wrong, ethical or not ethical. 🙂
If Ben wants to run his business within the confines of what he
considers to be ethical, honest, upstanding, etc., and if he thinks
his competitors are not, and wants to say something about it, then
for heaven's sakes, let Ben be Ben. Give him an 'atta boy, and judge
him by the facts.
Cold reality being what it is, products do not necessarily "win" in
the marketplace because of their technical excellence. If Company X
decides to lie in their ads, 99 percent of the time they can get away
with it. What can you do about it? When their competitors stand up
to complain, it's a shame that some people will think it's just sour
grapes.
