That happened to me with SuperStor Pro, but the reason had nothing to
do with the BB – rather with my failure to realize that a "last
drive=" statement in my config.sys would cause SSP to gasp, roll over
and die (eating 95% of my drive in the process). I had to do a
low-level format to get rid of it. Your customer will probably have
to do the same. But if I were you, I'd double-check to see if he had
any memory-resident programs operating, OR a "last drive=" statement
operant. I'd bet it was one or the other.
BTW, I have SSP installed on my other 2000 (286 BB) and the
installation went with out a hitch. But – I don't have Windows on
that drive, and did not have any memory managers or pseudo-disks
operating.
