$12.95…NO $129.95. You're off by a factor of 10! That's the list
price after May 31st. Before then…the list price (or introductory price
if you will) is $49.95. I've seen it advertised for a few dollars
cheaper..but not much cheaper than that. After May 31st, I'm sure you'll
see it for much less than the $129.95 list price. I presume MicroSoft's
dealer pricing doesn't allow much profit at the $49.95 level, but probably
allows quite a bit at the $129.95 level.
And yes, that's the UPGRADE, at least that's the way it's licensed. In
fact, I belive you can force it to do a clean install from scratch but you
have to do a few things by hand.
