Just wanted to mention I have one of those NEC CDR-74 drives, and I love it,
but the Koss speakers that came with it are not very good. They sound pretty
awful, have litte bass response, and almost no power (what do you expect for
battery powered amps in each speaker?). I'd recommend getting a reasonable
quality amp and some decent speakers, that'll do the sound card justice.
