Some guy locally bought an $18M cray for around $15K.
(Appearantly, he could melt it down for siler & gold and triple his
investment. Fortunately, he realizes the historical value of the computer
and probably won't do that.)
The only problem is it takes something like 1.5MW when fired up . . .
He'll probably be hard pressed to power it at home. :^)
